Hacienda Happy Tails
A Sanctuary for Farm Animals

Welcome to Hacienda Happy Tails
Nestled in Exeter, California, near Sequoia National Park, Hacienda Happy Tails began as a dream to give retired farm animals a safe, loving sanctuary. Today, it’s also a place where individuals with disabilities and youth facing barriers grow confidence, learn life and job skills, and connect with nature.Every flower we grow, every animal we care for, and every program we offer is a step toward a more compassionate, inclusive community.
From spending time with the animals to buying flower at our farm stand, your support allows us to provide a forever home for rescued farm animals and create meaningful job opportunities for individuals with disabilities
Spend a morning on the farm, meet our rescued animals, or help care for our flowers. Every visit directly supports our mission of inclusive agricultural education.
Come stay at our farm stay for a curated experience surrounded by flowers, animals, and open skies. Your visit supports our sanctuary and FIT programs, helping people and animals thrive together.
Whether in person or online, our farm stand helps to sustain our non profit. We sell bouquets, arrangements, succulents, and wreaths.
The Farmers in Training (FIT) program empowers individuals with disabilities and youth facing barriers by teaching them the vocational skills needed to grow, harvest, and sell farm-fresh flowers. These seasonal blooms directly fund our animal sanctuary, providing food and medical care for our rescued residents. This unique partnership creates a cycle of healing where participants gain confidence and independence while ensuring a forever home for our animals.
